The ‘Living Depot ’ creates an unprecedented contact between the public and the museum's collection, revealing part of its vast artistic heritage. This space is not just a place of conservation, but a dynamic environment where art is presented according to changing points of view and outside the traditional exhibition routes. By juxtaposing some of the collection's masterpieces with lesser-known, and in some respects surprising, sculptures and paintings in a novel way, the works acquire new vitality, stimulating interactions and critical reflections that challenge conventional hierarchies.
The ‘Living Depot’ enables visitors to discover the hidden dimension of the GAM, revealing how every museum is a living organism that undergoes constant transformation.
